CNC Computer Cutting

Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machinery is where PRP excels over competitors, providing advanced technology to manufacturer a wide variety of products and components. Currently within the facility, PRP has two primary CNC computer cutting machines. Both are capable of providing cost effective low volume cutting without the need for tooling, and also aid in development and prototype work due to their ability to quickly turn around samples within a short period of time. Increased diversity means we are able to undertake nearly any task within the bounds and limits of the machines.

CNC Die Cutting

In addition to having flat bed capabilities, PRP also adopts several CNC die cutting machines capable of producing medium to high volume quantities at fast and efficient production rates. Combined with a lean discipline and vision for high volume operations, these machines enable accurate and cost effective stamping with the ability for PRP to compete with off shore companies. Our current die cutting machinery includes CNC automated die presses, beam presses, travelling head presses and automated clicker presses.

Milling

Utilising our flat bed CNC machinery, PRP has the capability to mill intricate shapes out of many rubbers, sponges and foams that may not be viable using our traditional CNC cutting methods. This is particularly useful for case inserts and other foam related packaging solutions. Not just limited to softer materials, our milling operations extend to plastics and even aluminium where v-notching and folding can be implemented to create cost effective and durable box enclosures.

Laminating

To complement our extensive material range, PRP adopts a fully equipped laminator capable of providing an adhesive film to a majority of our rubbers, sponges and foams. Additional adhesive is often required to cope with varying environmental situations, or aid in installation. Our laminating machine enables roll or sheet stock to be laminated up to 1500mm wide with a variety of different strength adhesives, either synthetic or rubber based.

Engineering / Prototyping

PRP understand the need for customers to develop their product accordingly and are happy to aid in any engineering and preliminary prototyping to help achieve the satisfactory component you desire. We have at our disposal the services of many industry chemists and NATA testing laboratories.
