CNC Machining
Computer Numerical Controlled (CNC) machinery is where PRP excels over competitors, providing state of the art technology to aid manufacturer of a wide variety of products and components. With the acquisition of the ATOM Flash Cut 30155HD, PRP offers both cost effective low volume cutting without the need for tooling, or high volume production using our CNC die presses. With each machine tailored to maximum efficiency and quality, PRP can not only produce a wide range of diverse products, but also effectively provide high quality components whilst also keeping competitive prices over competitors.
Gaskets
PRP has been a leader in the manufacturer of gaskets and seals since the early 90's, providing expertise and components for various industries spanning agricultural through to mining. Our CNC machinery, adopting the .dxf file extension CAD file system, enables the quick and efficient fabrication of many different sized gaskets or seals. This system has also enabled us to create an extensive database of ring joint and flange gaskets which comply with British/Australian and US international standards.
Washers
Where PRP first began, washers are still very much a fundamental part of our business and over the years we have continued to develop more efficient ways to manufacturer high volume washers at a decreased cost. We have a production capability of up to 10000 units/hour, whilst also housing an extensive range of off the shelf tooling spanning many different sizes.
Sponge Products
PRP stocks and imports an extensive range of rubber and synthetic sponge materials and can assist in the development and manufacturer of sponge related products. This includes the ability to formulate and have produced variations of hardness and densities of all sponge types (Neoprene, EPDM, Nitrile, Silicone and Natural).
Foam Products
Like sponge, PRP also can manufacturer foam products to suit many foam related applications. Primarily its use is for packaging solutions and filtration applications.
Extrusion
Over the years PRP has developed many cross-sectional polymer extrusion profiles for many different applications. We design tooling and manage the manufacturer of the appropriate extrusion.
Thermal Insulation
Our closed cell cross linked polyethylene foam bonded to a tough reinforced aluminium facing (Thermoshield™) makes for an excellent insulation material. Available as rolls, tubes and customised boxed enclosures, please click here for further information.
Adhesive Laminating
Sometimes our gaskets, seals and other products need additional adhesion to cope with various environments and applications. Our laminating machine enables roll or sheet stock to be laminated up to 1500mm wide with a wide variety of different strength adhesives, both synthetic or rubber based.
Packaging Solutions / Case Inserts
We are designers and manufacturers of a diverse range of packaging solutions, primarily focusing on either our polypropylene fluted boxes, or intricate foam case inserts for the likes of plastic hard case manufacturer Pelican. Our polypropylene fluted boxes feature plastic handles, edge supports and are lined with a foam insert to help facilitate their respective components. Stencils
Through the diversity of our CNC machinery, PRP now has the capability to produce custom designed stencils spanning a wide variety of sizes. With our cutting sheet maximised at 2400mm x 1200mm, custom lettering or pictorial designs can be cut out at any size requirement within the material constraints to produce a strong, robust stencil capable of performing and withstanding any application.
Mouldings
PRP can supply high volume injection and low volume compression moulding in all grades of rubber, including EPDM, Neoprene, Nitrile, Viton and Silcone. We manage production by sourcing higher volumes from our overseas affiliates or manage smaller production with our local suppliers.
Engineering/Prototyping
Process Rubber understand the need for customers to develop their product accordingly and are happy to aid in any engineering and preliminary prototyping to help achieve the satisfactory component you desire. We have at our disposal the services of many industry chemists and NATA testing laboratories.
